Carlos Gil was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he currently resides. In 1997, after working in the film industry as assistant director in both Latin America and the United States, he decides to start directing commercials.
For more than a decade now, he has been specializing in directing hair commercials. He closely studied the different technical aspects on achieving the best quality possible, which lead him to become the most sought out and recognized Hair Product Director of the Latin America region. Currently, he has directed commercials for Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Miss Clairol, Chocolate, Nivea, ELLE, Pert Plus, Ona Saenz, Wellaton, Herbal Essences, etc.
